One thing that is definitely true about Kellogg is that there is never a dull moment. This past weekend was a good example of non-stop work and fun!!!

On Friday, I had the opportunity to teach several classes to EMBA 132 in Evanston at the Allen Center. The topics we covered included key issues in running a global company, how to increase the probability of making an acquisition successful and lessons learned from Private Equity. The EMBA 132 group is scheduled to graduate next month!!! Congratulations!!!🍾🎈🎊🎉

Early Saturday morning I flew down to the Kellogg campus in Coral Gables, Florida to teach EMBA 133 on “Executive Perspectives on Leadership.” We covered some of the same topics as well as issues regarding serving on corporate boards. The EMBA 133 group is also scheduled to graduate next month. Congratulations!!!

And now for the fun part! The Kellogg Bollywood Bash was held on Saturday night. Pranay and his colleagues asked if I could participate as a dancer. I thought I was in the clear since I had to teach in Florida, so I said I would be happy to do it if I was in town. However, that excuse didn’t work. They explained the fact that my traveling was not a problem since they could arrange the dance on video. I told them that one thing I cannot do is dance, but they decided that didn’t matter. 🤣🤣

The party was a huge success!

Okay, now for a clarification regarding the “dance.” The person dancing in the video below with Professor Tim Calkins may look like me. However, if asked, I am taking the 5th…! The person that looks like me must be either AI or fake news🤣

One more note! Here’s wishing all the mothers a truly wonderful (if belated) Mother’s Day!!! That includes both my wife (Julie) and my daughter (Suzie). Suzie is celebrating her first Mother’s Day with my 7-month-old grandson, Harrison 😀

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
