Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. First, when I was a child racing around the neighborhood with my siblings, second as a parent of five children (even though I was often accused of stealing their chocolate candy), and third, and actually most amazing, watching my two year-old grandson, Harrison, getting ready for Halloween in his dinosaur costume😂😂

Even though he’s only two years old, he quickly got into the Halloween mindset as you can see from the picture and videos below.

As I tried to make clear in my book “Your 168: Finding Purpose and Satisfaction in a Values Based Life,” there are only 168 hours in a week, or as some like to refer to it, 24/7. However, as my good friend Kay loves to remind me every year as we come off daylight saving time, we have 169 hours this week. Here’s hoping you all made good use of the extra hour!

On another topic, I have to correct what clearly was a mistake I made in last week’s blog post. Since I was depressed that the Cubs were eliminated from the playoffs, I mentioned that the baseball season was really over. Boy was I wrong!

The World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays was truly amazing. Each of the seven games had me on the edge of my seat. The third game went 18 innings and six hours and 39 minutes, which had me watching the game until almost 2 AM. Even in the ninth inning of the seventh game it wasn’t clear who would win until the very last minute.

I had the opportunity to watch the last game with all of my siblings, and we were screaming and yelling at one another since some were voting for the Dodgers, and some of us were rooting for the Blue Jays (that included me since I always root for the underdog…. never forget that I’m a Cubs fan) 😂😂

Back in the old days I used to keep score of every baseball game I watched. I didn’t realize some people still do! My son sent me his scorecard below. I don’t expect you to be able to read it, but I was very impressed that he completed the scorecard for the whole game and sent it to me.

Here’s wishing you all a wonderful start to November!👍😁
